Книга ученого-египтолога, автора монографии «Переворот Амен-хотпа IV», непосредственно касается двух известнейших в наше время деятелей фараоновского Египта — царя-солнцепоклонника Амен-хотпа IV (Эх-не-йота, «Эхнатона») и его жены царицы Нефр-эт («Нефертити»), его юных преемников — Семнех-ке-рэ и Тут-анх-йота (переименовавшего себя впоследствии в Тут-анх-амуна, «Тутанхамона»), а также примечательной особы, «жены-любимицы» Амен-хотпа IV — Кэйе (Кийа). В книгу включены новые данные о Кэйе, которые стали доступны благодаря изданию множества памятников, связанных с этой соперницей царицы, но не разгаданных издателями.
