Надеюсь, в «ЛСД-Психотерапии» мне удастся передать мое глубокое сожаление о том, что из-за сложного стечения обстоятельств психология и психиатрия лишились этого уникального средства для исследований и мощного терапевтического инструмента.

Я считаю, что очень важно прояснить споры и недоразумения, что даст надежду на возможное продолжение исследований ЛСД в будущем или завершит эту замечательную главу в истории психиатрии. Эффективность и безопасность психоделических веществ проверялась веками и даже тысячелетиями.

Есть вероятность, что в будущем мы вернемся к исследованиям в этой области, вооружившись уроками прошлого. Но даже если этого не случится, уже накопленный материал обладает огромным теоретическим значением и эвристической ценностью.
