Немало современных священнослужителей считают экзорцизм мрачным пережитком Средневековья, когда за одержимость принимали вполне обычные эпилептические припадки, истерию или нервные срывы. Но… что же Католическая церковь понимает под экзорцизмом в наши дни?

Летом 2005 года молодой американский священник записался в Ватиканский университет на курс экзорцизма, после чего в ходе практики принял участие более чем в 80 реальных обрядах. Увиденное навеки изменило его взгляд на проблему одержимости. Так что же довелось ему пережить?..
